We’re on a mission to encourage more people to consider adoption as a way to start or grow their family and we need your help.

Adoption is still rare so we’d like to help people to discover what it’s actually like. By hearing stories of

• What it’s like to apply
• Why did you choose to adopt?
• How you prepared yourself
• How it felt when you first set eyes on your child
• How quickly you were matched and how your Social Worker matched you
• The first few days of having them at home with you
• The first birthday party you threw them
• The ‘firsts’ you have celebrated with them
• Why you would encourage others to adopt
• What life is like now as a family

You can either email over your thoughts or we can have a chat over Teams, after which, we’ll write your story up, send it to you for approval and then anonymise it and add it to our website and socials. Simply send us an email, we’d love to hear from you.
