Finn (6 months)

Meet Finn – A joyful, cheeky baby full of personality

Finn is a gorgeous 6-month-old baby boy who is already charming everyone around him with his bright smile, cheeky personality and sparkling eyes. Described by his foster carer as “super adorable,” Finn is full of life, laughter, and curiosity—he’s one of those babies who makes a lasting impression the moment you meet him.

Now that he’s found his voice, Finn has become a wonderfully vocal and expressive little boy. He’s known for his happy, smiley nature and is content, calm, and affectionate. He enjoys being around people and thrives on interaction and engagement from both adults and children.

Finn’s daily routine

Finn sleeps soundly through the night and typically wakes between 5:30 and 7am. After a morning milk feed, he enjoys playtime in his swing chair or on the playmat while his carers prepare their children for school.

He loves joining the school run in his pushchair and often takes a short nap along the way—though the second the pushchair stops, he’s wide awake again! He usually has additional feeds around 10am and 2pm, with another nap later in the day during the afternoon school run.

Finn is just about to start weaning, and his carers are excited to introduce him to the wonderful world of food and new tastes.

What Finn loves

  • Bath time fun – Splashing and giggling in the tub is one of his absolute favourite things.
  • Bouncing in his Jumperoo – He could bounce all day if you let him!
  • Listening to music – Especially when someone sings Row, Row, Row Your Boat.
  • Being around the family dogs – He finds them fascinating and fun.
  • Company and cuddles – Finn is most relaxed when he’s around others and takes real comfort in companionship.

He particularly enjoys time on the play mat and seeks out connection, stimulation, and attention. His carer notes how much he thrives in an environment filled with love, play, and responsive interaction.

Health and development

Finn is a healthy baby who is currently meeting all his developmental milestones. He responds beautifully to one-to-one attention and is progressing well. There are no concerns about his physical or emotional development at this time.

Ongoing adoption support

When adopting through Family Adoption Links, families will receive a comprehensive package of post-adoption support:

  • For the first three years after the adoption order, Family Adoption Links Lincolnshire will provide support services. After this period, support is provided by the adoptive family’s local authority (which if you live in Lincolnshire will be FAL Lincolnshire)
  • Families are entitled to an assessment of Finn’s needs up to age 18, and in some circumstances, up to age 25.
  • Additional resources include adoption support groups, training opportunities, activity days and the Thrive newsletter.
  • Support from Lincolnshire’s Virtual School is available, including guidance on Pupil Premium, the Education Passport, and other tools to help Finn succeed in education.

Could you be Finn’s forever family?

Finn is ready to bring his joy, energy and love to a permanent, nurturing home. He’s looking for a family who can offer the warmth, attention, and encouragement he thrives on—and who will love him as much as he’s sure to love them.

If you think you could be that special family, we’d love to hear from you so please get in touch.

Please note that whilst this image is representative of little Finn, it is a stock shot and his name has been changed to protect his identity.
